This is a very impressive falls located on the east side of the Big Island north of Hilo. It at the end of Hawaii State Route 220. The trail has many steps and is about a third of a mile long. You get to see 2 different falls while hiking the trail in this area. The other falls, Kahuna Falls, although lovely, isn’t as spectacular as Akaka Falls but is, nonetheless, worth the hike.
