Just north of Hilo on Hawaii State Route 19 at mile marker 7 is part of the old highway bypassed long ago for a speedy trip between Hilo and Kailea~Kona. Its easy to find if your traveling north from Hilo. Just take the turn off to the Botanical Gardens you'll find yourself on a narrow winding road that has one lane bridges lush tropical rain forests with awesome scenery.
