Take Highway 31 to just past the 41 mile marker to arrive at Palapala Ho’omau Church were you will find the burial place of aviator, Charles Lindbergh. Lindbergh’s grave is toward the back in the newer section of graves. Lindbergh loved East Maui and spent a lot of time in the islands. Back in New York when diagnosed with lung cancer, Lindbergh asked to be taken back to Maui where he spent his last few remaining days and was entered here in a very private ceremony.
