One of the best aquariums in the islands, the Maui Ocean Center is definitely worth a visit. Here you can see all types of tropical fish, and sea turtles. The Ocean Center has a large glass tunnel that passes through the tanks so you can get a “underwater feel” while still remaining on land. The tunnel tank contains all types of fish including sharks and other tropical beauties. Explore the Living Reef area and learn about conservation efforts the islands have undertaken to protect the Hawaiian Reefs. The admission cost is $24 for adults and $17 for children. The Maui Ocean Center is located in Ma’alaea on the south coast of Maui.
