Honolulu – Pearl of Hawaii

The city of Honolulu, also known as the “Crossroads of the Pacific” is the capital of the state of Hawaii. It is a cosmopolitan city brimming with all of the culture, excitement and glitz of any large U.S. city. Honolulu boasts one of the most diverse populations in all of the United States with people from every ethnic background calling Honolulu home.

Located on the island of O’ahu, Honolulu is called home by close to 400,000 people. With its mild climate and sunshine, it is the financial, commercial and government center of the state of Hawaii. As the gateway port of entry for most visitors, Honolulu International airport on the southwestern side of the island, is the launching point for most visitors coming to or leaving the islands. Honolulu enjoys a warm and stable climate with temperatures of 80-89° F. (27-32° C.) during the day and lows of 65-75° F (19-32° C.) during the night.  While warm trade winds  generally bring an increased amount of rainfall to the island of O’ahu, the months of April through September usually bring less precipitation to the city of Honolulu then they receive from October through March.
