If you are staying in Waikiki, a fun place to walk around is the International Marketplace located between Kalakaua and Huhio Avenues next to Duke’s Lane. The market is a 125,000 square foot flea market with every kind of souvenir and trinket you can imagine. Barter with the vendors for pearls in the oyster, scarves, carved wood tiki gods, beach wear and countless other useless but fun to buy trinkets to stuff your suitcase and give to friends back home. Huge banyon trees provide shade and ambience to this tropical bazaar. |
